Sub: Concurrence to challenge

Consequent to my Notification dt.5th January 2010 on this subject, please be informed that concurrences from the following clubs received within the deadline prescribed in my Notification dt.5th January 2010 and continued to be effective for fifteen days thereafter are considered valid, for the challenge of Rotary club of Coimbatore Galaxy, challenging the decision of the selection of Rtn.V. Rajkumar of Rotary Club of Coimbatore Metropolis as the DGN 2012-13 by the Nominating Committee and proposing their member Rtn.H.E.Haji Iqbal as a challenging candidate.

As per RI Bylaws 13.020.9 & 13.020.11 of MOP, for balloting upon at the District Conference, concurrence of eleven clubs (minimum 10% of the total number of clubs as at the beginning of this year, other than challenging club) should continue to be effective for 15 days from 10.1.2010 and hence the election of DGN 2012-2013 will be done by ballot at the District Conference as per RI Bylaws.
