Rtn.V.Rajkumar joined Rotary in 1982 as a charter Member of CBE North and later joined CBE Metropolis in 1992. After holding all positions in the Club including Bulletin Editor and Fund Raising Convenor for Metro Fair, he was the President of Rotary Club of Coimbatore Metropolis in 2005-06 and led the Club to 17 District awards including that of Best President. His significant contribution during his year as President was to motivate his Club to become a 100% PHF Club.
He is a Major Donor and a Benefactor of the Rotary Foundation.

Rajkumar who did his schooling in Stanes High School, Coimbatore, is a graduate of Commerce, Business Management & studied at Institute of Cost and Works Accts of India.
Professionally he is Managing Director of M/s.Rajakumar Chit Funds P Ltd., and Kovai Investments (P) Ltd.,
His hobbies are Music, Tennis & Cricket for which he represented his college team, winning the State University Championships 'DUNCAN Trophy' in cricket. He is now an active Golfer.
Married to Girija they have 2 daughters Preetha & Aarthi and 1 son Navaneeth all having done their Post Graduation in USA and are married and currently working in reputed Financial Institutions in USA.
